Belfry in Fu
Qian Street, in 1945, by Shao Du
In
1945, Fu Qian Street (It means the street in front of the City Hall) was the
downtown of the city. The Belfry was the significant building in the city.
And there used to be an amusement park for children and some Chinese
traditional pubs around. But the Belfry was burnt down in Cultural
Revolution (1966-1976).
